EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING COACHING
PARENTS, ARE YOU TIRED?
- Of nagging?
- Of feeling like you're the 'bad guy'?
- Of getting notifications that another grade has dropped or another assignment is missing?
- Of the last-minute stress of your student trying to turn in as much as possible before the end of the quarter?
- Of sitting awake at night wondering how in the world they're going to make it in college?!
WE CAN HELP
The work we do with our clients is customized to their unique strengths and challenges with the 'just right' level of scaffolding. We gain access to online assignment portals (with permission) so that we know what to ask and when. This way, we can guide students as they take on the cognitive load of figuring out what's due, what's missing, what needs planning, etc.
We don't just tell our students what to do. Instead, we ask the right questions, at the right time, so they can develop the skills they'll need to be independent and successful learners, especially if/when it comes time for college.
Our executive functioning coaching package includes both direct, 1:1 coaching, as well as much-needed 'behind the scenes' expertise:
-
Accountability check-ins in between sessions, as needed
-
Grade and assignment portal reviews to check on upcoming, current, missing, and/or late assignments
-
Parent or caregiver check-ins to provide updates or recommendations, as needed
-
School and/or outside counselor consultations to ensure we're working toward a unified goal
-
Self-advocacy coaching, including: how and when to disclose their neurodivergence, how to communicate with teachers, and how to write emails to adults
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Clicking the button below will bring you to our Calendly page. Here, you can schedule an initial (free) consultation where we'll chat over the phone or via Zoom so we can learn more about your student and you can learn more about how we do things. After that, if you're interested in pursuing coaching, we'll send our intake paperwork through our online portal called IntakeQ. Fill it out, submit it online, and then schedule your initial appointment.
During our first meeting, we'll discuss strengths and challenges and decide what to focus on throughout the session. Following that, we'll plan to meet weekly to address goals and build skills.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
$600 each month over the course of a school semester (5 months)
- FALL SEMESTER: September, October, November, December, and January
- SPRING SEMESTER: February, March, April, May, and June
